Ingredients

  • Rolled Oats (2 1/2 cups)
  • Oat Bran (125g)
  • Desiccated Coconut (65g)
  • Ground Linseed (20g)
  • Salt (pinch)
  • Ground Cinnamon (1 tsp)
  • Mixed Spice (1 tsp)
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (1/4 cup)
  • Almond Milk (1/3 cup)
  • Nuts (e.g. almonds, walnuts, macadamia, etc) (1/2 - 1 cup)
  • Seeds (e.g. pumpkin, sunflower, sesame, etc) (1/2 - 1 cup)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Combine all ingredients up to and including mixed spice.

  3. Combine milk and oil together then mix them into the dry ingredients.

  4. Pour mix into a deep baking dish and bake in oven for 50 - 60 minutes. Make sure to stir the mix every 10 minutes otherwise it will burn.

  5. Mix in the nuts and seeds.

  6. Leave to cool before putting in air tight containers.

  7. I serve mine with some fresh fruit and home made probiotic yoghurt - delish!
